Basically Bead-y Chunky Cowl

Two back to back posts form me?! What?! Who is this girl and why is she writing on my blog and getting things done!? Let’s leave it at I’ve had a decent amount of coffee and call it a day 😉

After writing up the tutorial for The Bead Stitch, I got to thinking that I should come up with a quick and easy pattern to go along with it! Nothing like a little practice on a new stitch. My amazing mama-in-law recently mailed me an early Christmas present of YARN! ❤ It’s this gorgeous, super soft, and full of color bulky weight yarn. Perfect for a quick project like this! And this yarn simply glided with working the beads.

For this pattern you can use bulky weight yarn or double up on some worsted or dk. It is an easily adaptable pattern that you can make larger and/or taller, just keep your starting chain at a multiple of 2! It also works up nice and quick! An hour or less depending on how quick you are with your hook, so it makes a perfect last minute gift!
